Billy is responsible for the implementation of investment and planning strategies and for managing existing and new client relationships. As a member of the Investment Committee, Billy is responsible for the study of economic, financial and market trends, as well as, the analysis and recommendations of stock, bond, mutual fund, and asset allocation opportunities.
Billy is a Co-founder and Managing Director of the firm with over 20 years of investment management experience. He graduated from Union University in 1990 with a Business Administration degree with concentrations in Economics and Finance. Prior to founding Haynes Barker Investment Management, LLC, and joining LPL Financial, he was a financial advisor with Merrill Lynch. He also served as a limited partner and financial advisor with St. Louis based Edward Jones. He provided investment portfolio management and financial planning services to high net worth individuals, families, and trusts.
Billy is active in local charitable and civic organizations. He has served on the the advisory boards of the West Tennessee Boyscouts of America, Youth Town of Tennessee, and the Salvation Army. He is a member of Leadership Jackson and is a Paul Harris Fellow with the Jackson Rotary Club.
Billy and his wife Christian reside in Jackson and have a son and 3 daughters.
